Front doors are 6-3/4" (these drop in with a 6.5" speaker plus a Nissan mounting bracket). Rear-deck 6×9"s are low-impedance from the factory, so swapping to standard 4-ohm speakers can shift your volume balance — ask us and we'll match it. Bose-equipped cars run a factory amp and add 6-3/4" rear-door speakers; confirm your trim if you're unsure.

The B17 Nissan Sentra is a clean, beginner-friendly upgrade. The factory opening is single-DIN, but the right Metra kit lets you drop in a modern single- or double-DIN screen with Apple CarPlay or Android Auto — no dash cutting. The catch worth knowing: the rear-deck 6×9"s are low-impedance from the factory and the top Bose trim runs an amp, so the harness you pick matters. Below are the exact dash kits and plug-and-play harnesses we stock for your Sentra. Want it done right the first time? Our techs install Sentras at our Chilliwack shop.

2013–2019 Nissan Sentra stereo upgrade — FAQ

What size speakers fit a 2013–2019 Nissan Sentra?

The front doors use 6-3/4" speakers, which drop in with a common 6.5" aftermarket speaker plus a Nissan mounting bracket. The rear deck takes 6×9" speakers. Cars with the Bose system add 6-3/4" speakers in the rear doors. One heads-up: the factory rear-deck 6×9"s are low-impedance, so swapping to standard 4-ohm speakers can shift your volume balance — we'll match it for you.

Can I put a double DIN / Apple CarPlay stereo in my Sentra?

Yes. The factory opening is single-DIN, but with the Metra 99-7422 dash kit a 2013–2019 Sentra takes a full double-DIN CarPlay / Android Auto receiver cleanly — no cutting. The kit fills the dash opening and gives the new stereo an OEM-style finish. Prefer a smaller deck? The single-DIN 99-7618G kit covers that.

Will I lose steering-wheel controls or the backup camera?

No. A plug-and-play harness keeps your steering-wheel controls working — the iDatalink HRN-HRR-NI1 Maestro harness retains the controls and factory features, and a compatible head unit keeps the backup camera (where equipped). On Bose cars with a factory amp, use the Metra 70-7554 amplified harness so you keep full sound.

What dash kit do I need for a (2013–2019) Sentra?

For a double-DIN stereo, the Metra 99-7422 single/double-DIN kit is the one to get. For a compact single-DIN stereo, the Metra 99-7618G in grey is an OEM-match option. Both are in stock above with live pricing, and both fit the 2013–2019 Sentra.
