How much does it cost to install an amp and subwoofer in Chilliwack?
Installs are billed in half-hour blocks ($64.99 with gear from us, $74.99 for gear you bring), and full bass builds with a custom enclosure are quoted up front after a free consultation so you know the total before we start.
Do I need a bigger alternator or a 'big three' upgrade?
It depends on how much power you're adding. We check your charging system during the consultation and recommend a big-three upgrade, capacitor or alternator only if your build actually needs it — we won't sell you parts you don't.
Should I get a sealed or ported subwoofer box?
Sealed boxes give tight, accurate bass that suits all music; ported boxes give more output and are louder for the same power. We build the enclosure to match your subwoofer and your goal, sized for your vehicle.
Will a subwoofer drain my battery?
Not when it's installed correctly. Proper gauge wiring, a good ground and fused distribution — plus electrical upgrades on high-power builds — keep everything stable so your battery and lights are fine.
