Product Details
An 8 inch dual voice coil subwoofer from the EDGE Street Series, rated for 700W RMS and 1400W peak with dual 2 Ohm coils. It combines a 2.5 inch four-layer voice coil with a paper composite cone, polycotton spiders and a double stitched jumbo foam surround, all held in a reinforced die-cast angular torsion basket. A bumped 8mm T-yoke allows high excursion without the coil bottoming out on the backplate, and the driver needs 5.5 inches (140mm) of mounting depth.
