Product Details

The Metra 70-6509 is an amp bypass harness for the 1997-1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the factory amplified sound system. It lets an aftermarket radio power the Jeep's speakers directly, with the original amplifier removed from the circuit.

The factory amp is located under the rear seat on the driver's side. The harness includes leads for the left and right rear roof speakers, while the front tweeters are crossed over at the tweeter and wired in parallel with the front door speakers. Confirm fitment for your vehicle's trim and factory audio system before ordering, or book the install with our Chilliwack bay.
