Metra Single/Double-DIN Dash Kit for 2011-2015 Ford Explorer, 4.2-Inch Screen (99-5828CH)

This Metra kit replaces the factory radio in 2011-2015 Ford Explorer models with the factory 4.2-inch screen and without MyFord Touch. It takes either a single-DIN radio with a pocket or a double-DIN radio, and it is painted charcoal grey.

The wiring connects through an Axxess interface control box, either AX-ADBOX1 with digital fade or AX-ADBOX2 without, together with the AX-ADFD02 harness and antenna adapter 40-EU10, all sold separately. Metra has discontinued this kit and lists 99-5847CH as the replacement. Confirm fitment for your vehicle's trim and factory audio system before ordering, or book the install with our Chilliwack bay.
