Product Details

An amp bypass harness for GM cars with the factory amplified system: 2000-2002 Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird convertibles, and 2001-2004 Oldsmobile Alero and Pontiac Grand Am. It lets you connect an aftermarket radio and take the factory amplifier out of the circuit.

Check the option sticker before ordering: the Camaro and Firebird need RPO code U59, while the Alero and Grand Am need U85. Because the factory amp handled the crossover for the tweeters and subwoofers, add crossovers when you bypass it. Confirm fitment for your vehicle's trim and factory audio system before ordering, or book the install with our Chilliwack bay.
